Do you have an extended warranty?

DISH Network offers customers the DISH Network Protection Plan for $5.99 per month. This warranty covers most "DISH Network" branded DBS equipment in the same home. The warranty terms are active the moment you add the DHPP service to your account. The equipment with the issue must be active on the account. In some cases you may be required to return the equipment. The equipment return will include packaging and prepaid shipping labels. It is a great peace of mind just in case there is a failure in your satellite system. This service is not currently available annually. Benefits:
This warranty covers your equipment and you will not need to pay for Out of Warranty repair if an exchange is needed. You will receive free shipping on DISH Network products if an exchange is needed. This warranty covers surge damage failure. This option also includes In-home servicing if the problem cannot be resolved through troubleshooting over the phone. For $29 (regularly $99) and authorized technician will come to your home.
Terms:
The warranty covers all active equipment displaying the DISH Network brand. The equipment must be in the same home as the primary active receiver. The warranty covers all installations that were performed by DISH Network or an authorized retailer. You are covered under warranty starting from the time of purchase. Again surge damage is covered.
What is not covered:
customer damage, cosmetic damage, infestation, HD televisions, acts of nature, StarBand equipment, pre-existing conditions.
Troubleshooting must be done with our Technical Department. A representative will determine if the equipment needs to be exchanged or if an In-home call is needed.

Question: If I have two homes can I purchase a Dish Network system to use in both places?

Yes! You would purchase a satellite system for your main residence through us. After that, you can either order an additional dish - through DISH Network or a local retailer – and have the dish installed at your 2nd residence...OR you can take advantage of the DISH Movers program to have the 2nd dish installed for free. Question:We're interested in All American Dish®'s satellite programming, but our homeowner's association will not allow the installation of a dish. Can you help us?

We appreciate your interest in All American Dish® DISH Network and we would love to have you as a subscriber! In 1996, the FCC issued the Sattelite Consumers Bill of rights. That regulation states consumers have a right to install a satellite system on any residential establishment that they own, as long as it is entirely contained within their own, private residential area. This regulation preempts local zoning ordinances, such as Home Owner Association (HOA) covenants and restrictions regarding the installation and use of DBS dish antennas. This rule, among many others, was required by Congress in the Telecommunications Act.
